Charleston real estate web sites are a great help to those considering relocating to the Charleston area. Many contain information and photos of homes for sale and of the local communities. To provide additional insight into all the Charleston area has to offer, particularly the town of Mt. Pleasant, I have included the following high definition videos of various Mt. Pleasant attractions.

Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park

The Mount Pleasant Memorial Park is located at the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Bridge in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The Park features a fishing pier, play park, concession stand and covered pavilion. Fishing equipment is available for rental. Convenient metered parking is available.

 

Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market

The Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market is located on the grounds of the new Moultrie Middle School on Coleman Blvd. in the town of Mt. Pleasant, SC. It is open between about the middle of April through the middle of October.

 

Mt. Pleasant Senior Citizens Center

The Mt. Pleasant Senior Citizens Center is located at 840 Von Kolnitz Road. The center is geared towards those 50 and over, the senior services center offers a variety of recreational, cultural and creative arts programs, in addition to providing health, wellness, educational and social activities. Space at the facility includes a weight room, aerobics room, cafe, prep kitchen, screened porch, card room, educational room, arts and crafts room, therapeutic "healing" garden.

 

Palmetto Island County Park

Palmetto Island County Park is located off of Longpoint Road in the town of Mt. Pleasant. There is a small admission charge. Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park is a nature-oriented, 943-acre park designed for family and group use. The park is built in a tropical setting, with bicycle paths, boardwalks, and picnic sites with grills located throughout the park for your enjoyment.

 

Patriot's Point Soccer Complex

 The Town of Mount Pleasant has over 2,500 soccer players (from Micro to adult) who utilize the soccer fields and the shelters at these fields.

Opening Celebration Of The New East Cooper Hospital

The new East Cooper Community Hospital recently opened in the town of Mt. Pleasant, SC. It is located at 2000 Hospital Drive.

 

Park West Dog Park

A dog park is located near the entrance of the Park West Recreation Complex in the Park West subdivision. The dog park features a pond and a number of benches.

 

The Isle Of Palms

The Isle of Palms beach front community is located adjacent to the town of Mt. Pleasant just over the "Isle of Palms" Connector. The other Mt. Pleasant area beach is Sullivan's Island.

 

Mt. Pleasant Tennis Center

The Mount Pleasant Tennis Center is located off of Whipple Road in the town of Mt. Pleasant. The tennis facility has 15 courts and a club house. Information pertaining to the tennis center can be found in the latest tennis brochure.

 

Park West Recreation Complex

The Park West Recreation Complex is located in the Park West Subdivision in the town of Mt. Pleasant. The facility has tennis courts, soccer, baseball and football fields, a track, indoor swimming pool and play park in addition to "Bark Park", a dog park recently opened.

 

Mt. Pleasant Town Center

The Mt. Pleasant Town Center is one of two major outdoor shopping centers in the town of Mt. Pleasant, the other being the recently opened Oakland Plantation shopping center.

The Arthur Ravenel Bridge connects the town of Mt. Pleasant with the Charleston Historic District.

 

RB's And Reds Ice House At Shem Creek

The town of Mt. Pleasant is home to numerous National, Regional & Local Restaurants, to include Red's Ice House and RB's at Shem Creek.

 

Remley's Point Public Boat Ramp

One of the attractions of the town of Mt. Pleasant is it's easy access to fishing and other water activities. Remley's Point is one of the public boat ramps found in the town.

 

Pitt Street Bridge In The Old Village Of Mt. Pleasant

The Old Pitt Street Bridge is located in the heart of the historic Old Village area of the town of Mt. Pleasant. It is located at Cove Inlet between the Old Village and Sullivan's Isand. It is a favorite location of locals  for crabbing, fishing, bird watching or enjoying a pleasant box lunch during a pleasant spring day .
